Notre-Dame-de-Grâce will welcome a major new rental project in spring 2027: Hallō, 288 rental condos at 5315 Crowley Avenue, between the Monkland and Victoria villages, a three-minute walk from Vendôme metro.
Developed by Montreal-based Rachel Julien, the project bets on all-inclusive living — electricity, heating, Internet and appliances included in the rent — and on fifteen shared spaces, from the urban chalet to rooftop vegetable gardens
Notre-Dame-de-Grâce's rental landscape is gaining a project that has already made waves. Hallō, at 5315 Crowley Avenue between the Monkland and Victoria villages, will open its doors starting in May 2027, a three-minute walk from Vendôme metro and its transit hub.
The neighbourhood scores 95 out of 100 for walkability, and views stretch over downtown, the river, Mount Royal and Saint Joseph's Oratory.
The project offers 288 rental condos over 21 storeys, from studios to three-bedroom units, each with a balcony, loggia or terrace, and a workspace in most units. The developer is Rachel Julien, a Montreal company active for more than 30 years, and the architecture is by Blouin Beauchamp Architectes with Gauvreau Design.
The project received $103.5 million in federal support through CMHC's Apartment Construction Loan Program, announced in March 2025 when the project was still called Station C.
The formula bets on simplicity: a single monthly amount, with no extra bill during the month for essential services. Parking, storage and bike racks are available at an extra charge.
But Hallō stands out above all for its shared spaces: fifteen places designed as an extension of the home — a welcoming hall with full-time concierge, gym, inner courtyard, a 21st-floor rooftop terrace with a relaxation pool, a 20th-floor terrace with BBQ and fireplace, a 7th-floor terrace with a dog run and urban vegetable gardens, an urban chalet, a cinema room, a pet grooming room, coworking space, games room and yoga room.
In NDG, a neighbourhood already prized for its village life, Hallō adds new rental supply that bets as much on neighbours as on four walls — and that is exactly where the future of Montreal rental housing is being played out.
