Cycle paths

Montreal's cycling network extends over 1,065 kilometers. It is composed of bike paths and lanes, 729 kilometers of which are passable year-round. A map is updated regularly and will allow you to identify the different types of safe paths available and locate the various REV routes.

The proximity of a bike path is also one of the advantages enjoyed by residents of Greater Montreal municipalities. Across the metropolitan area, two-thirds of homes are located within 300 meters of a bike path, and half are within 200 meters.

Excellent resources

The City of Montreal website is a very comprehensive source of information on the island's cycle path.

The REV forms the backbone of Montreal's cycling network. User-friendly and attractive, this infrastructure is accessible 12 months a year. The bike lanes that run through the boroughs complete this network.

The map is kept up to date there.
