The Archdiocese of Montreal proudly announces the launch of the Roman Catholic Real Estate Corporation of Montreal (CICRM), an innovative non-profit organization dedicated to the strategic management of ecclesiastical properties, with a focus on social impact and sustainable management of these properties.

This is the first time that a Roman Catholic archdiocese has created a non-profit subsidiary to use real estate development as a lever for asset enhancement and benefits for the community.

By acting as an intermediary between churches, municipalities, governments, and development partners, the CICRM simplifies and supports the entire process of selling and redeveloping properties, always with the intention of honoring heritage when possible and addressing the urgent needs of the community.

The CICRM will assist parishes that wish to explore their options or initiate a conversion, transformation, or sale project.

By mobilizing its expertise, the CICRM will ensure that these spaces continue to serve both the Catholic community and society at large.
