Sainte-Catherine West

The Sainte-Catherine West Project is a major urban revitalization project in the heart of downtown Montreal.

This project aims to transform Sainte-Catherine Street West, recognized as one of the most dynamic commercial arteries in the world, by offering a unique and more welcoming pedestrian experience.

The work includes the replacement of outdated underground infrastructure and the redevelopment of public spaces. The project is divided into several phases:

Phase 1: Work between De Bleury and Mansfield Streets, as well as Phillips Square and Union Avenue, completed

Phase 2: Work between Mansfield and Peel Streets began in summer 2023 and will continue until fall 2025.

Phase 3: Work between Peel and Saint-Marc streets will begin in 2025

Phase 4: The redevelopment of the section between Saint-Marc Street and Atwater Avenue is planned for 2030.

This project aims to provide a greener environment, with widened sidewalks, paved surfaces, and numerous trees
and new seating areas, while highlighting the particularities of each sector

The Molson Project

The Molson Project is an ambitious urban redevelopment project located on the site of the former Molson brewery, at the corner of Notre-Dame Street and Papineau Avenue in Montreal. This project aims to transform this historic space into a modern neighborhood integrated into the urban fabric of the city. The project includes several key elements:

Creation of new streets: Five new streets or street extensions will be created south of Notre-Dame Street, allowing the formation of three new blocksHousing: Around 3,200 housing units will be built, including social housingCommercial and office space: The project includes 32,500 m² of retail space and 37,500 m² of office spaceHotel: A 23,000 m² hotel is also plannedPark: A 13,200 m² park will be developed to provide green spaces for residents and visitors

Quartier Molson will showcase the site's historical legacy while offering spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River. This project is designed to meet the needs of the local community while attracting visitors, and it will become a point of pride for Montreal with international reach.
