More than 700 rental units to come in Montreal

The Government of Canada is investing over 278 million dollars to build 764 rental housing units in Montreal through the Apartment Construction Loan Program (PPCA).
The announcement was made by the honorable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Identity, Parks Canada, Lieutenant of Quebec, and Member of Parliament for Laurier–Sainte-Marie, accompanied by Anna Gainey, MP for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce–Westmount, as well as Emmanuel Dubourg, MP for Bourassa, at the site of the Station C project, located at 5311 Crowley Avenue in Montreal.
Station C is a project of 288 rental units, which has received investments of over 100 million dollars in the form of low-interest loans from the Government of Canada.
The project is designed with a vision focused on sustainable development, highlighting exemplary standards of housing accessibility. The building includes attractive common areas, such as a green inner courtyard, a double-height glass entrance hall with a relaxation area, a fitness room, an urban chalet, and a rooftop terrace.
The project is located very close to the Vendôme metro station and train station, Station C will offer quick and convenient access to the public transport network.
